Rabbits don't talk out loud all that much. They like to give us hints as to how they are feeling through the way they act. Different signs your rabbit gives can be hard to decipher. This is a guide to a few common signs that your rabbit may be giving you.

Your Rabbit Speaks Through its Body.

Flops

Flops are when your rabbit jumps down onto their side. They mean your rabbit is relaxed and happy. They can also mean your furry friend is a little worn out. Rabbits usually flop next to something they can lean against in a comfy spot. Some rabbits even flop onto their back. Don't worry though, this means your rabbit is very content and trusts you.

Binkies

Binkies are just about the best thing you can see your rabbit do.  Binkies are a jump/run/twist combonation. They come along with extremely happy and excited rabbits who are having a lot of fun. The time when your rabbit is most likely to binky is when you just let them out of their cage.

Chinning

Chinning is when your rabbit rubs their chin on objects and it is a territorial behavoir. Chinning is most seen in rabbits who are not spayed or neutered. If your rabbit is chinning, don't be worried though. Chinning is also seen when you buy a new cage or new toys for your rabbit. It is your rabbit's message to you that says "this is mine!" Chinning that occurs very often however is something to worry about. Make sure to have a vet check your rabbit out if they are constanly chinning as this can be a sign of some health issues.

Nudging

Nudging is exactly what it sounds like. Bassicly, nudging means that your bun wants you to back off or stop doing something.

Snorting

Snorting is another way of saying "go away" or "stop." Rather than a body sign, snorting is a noise your rabbit makes. It only occurs when your rabbit is being especially bratty and may come along with a nip if you don't listen. If your rabbit does snort, they really are mad.
